Classic Feeder Replacement Perch and Port Cover

The Classic Feeder Replacement Perch and Port Cover is one aluminum replacement port cover and perch that fits any of the Classic bird feeders. Super sturdy, these will last for years. Follow directions below for installation.

This perch fits both 12″ and 20″ Classic Hanging Feeders and the Classic Pole Mounted Feeder.

• Easy to install.
• Includes 1 perch, one port cover, one lock washer and one nut.
• We always recommend that you apply a little vaseline or generic petroleum jelly to the threads on screws that hold any outdoor equipment together.
• Remove old hardware, put the new perch through the new port cover, then both go over the clear port, pushing or screwing the threaded end of the perch through to the inside of the base.
• On the inside of the base, install the lock washer onto the threaded end of the perch (important), then screw the nut over the lock washer.
• Use a small wrench to tighten the nut onto the perch end, to secure it. This prevents the nut and perch from loosening up over time.
